9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. Mass

Every Sunday Morning

Children are a blessing to any church and we take our ministry to children and their parents seriously.

We offer opportunities for Children from Age 2 - Grade 4 to be involved in our Children's Ministry. Each program is led by adult leaders, who are trained volunteers, who have gone through a screening process to be involved in the classroom. Your child’s physical, emotional and spiritual safety are their primary concerns as they minister to your little ones.

Our Children's Ministry is made up of :

Ages 2 & 3.

Program for Children Aged 2 & 3 held during our 9:30a.m & 11:30am Mass. Children participate in Kids Zone for the entire Mass and parents pick their children up at the end of Mass. The program is offered under the supervision of trained volunteers. Prior Registration is required for safety and security purposes and limited numbers are permitted each week so early arrival is required to ensure a place.

Our program for Children in J.K. - Grade 4 has various parts. All of these programs take place during the Liturgy of the Word. Children are called to the front of the Church and move with their adult leaders to their program spaces. During the presentation of the gifts all the children return to the Church to join their families.

J.K. - GRADE One  - Children’s Liturgy

In Children’s Liturgy they are read the Sunday readings by the catechist using the Children’s Lectionary, join in participating in the Psalm and Gospel Acclamation and then they hear a brief reflection by the adult leader. Following this they pray using some children’s petitions and receive their activity sheets and handouts for the week. All this is mixed with song, movement and a little modern technology to make God's word come alive!

Children in Grade 3-Grade 4 follow their Iwannago leaders and begin with a worship song, then one of the children reads the readings, the leaders offers a reflection, at times this reflection will include a skit or a special screening of a video, and then the prayers of the faithful are developed by the children. A special activity sheet with task for the week is included.
